IChemE sets out to publish books and journals which allow engineers and scientists to improve their professional skills and performance. In many cases this is done by encouraging experienced engineers to pass on their distilled wisdom to younger engineers. At the same time, more experienced engineers have a source of reference tomeasure themselves against for comparison.
